Once your estimate is ready, send it to the homeowner for review and signature — they sign from any device, no app or account needed.
Open the estimate you want to send.
Click Send for Signature.
Choose how to deliver it: Email, SMS, or Both. SMS is recommended for faster open rates — homeowners open texts within minutes vs. hours for email.
Customize the delivery message if desired, then click Send Now.
The homeowner receives a link. They tap it, view the full proposal, select their preferred tier (if 3-tier), type their name to sign, and click Approve.
The moment they sign, you get a push notification. The signed PDF is automatically saved to the lead and job record.
Call the homeowner right after sending — 'I just sent over the estimate, should be in your texts now. Take a look and let me know what questions you have.' This dramatically improves open and sign rates.
Homeowners do not need a Scaffold account to sign. The link works on any phone, tablet, or computer.
